Helping victims of domestic violence find the right words
Elle’s Imagine’nt is a French charity that helps victims of domestic abuse. Shockingly, every two and a half days a woman dies at the hands of her husband in France. Elle’s Imagine’nt released these print ads to encourage victims of domestic violence to reach out. The concept is great, the copywriting brilliant and there’s a rewarding “a-ha” moment when you realise what you’re looking at. But I worry this way too subtle to correct France’s disturbing statistic.
